Audi has announced that every 2026 model will include complimentary scheduled maintenance, in a move aimed at reducing ownership costs and boosting appeal. The program, named Audi Signature Care, covers the first three service visits. The visits are scheduled once per year or every 10,000 miles, whichever comes first, and include a brake-fluid replacement as part of the package. The offer applies to both new vehicles and leases for the 2026 model year.

In the luxury segment, Audi’s timing aligns with a broader industry pattern. Rivals such as BMW have offered free scheduled maintenance for years (three years or 36,000 miles), while Genesis and Volvo provide similar coverage. Lexus and Porsche also offer the first scheduled service at no cost in some configurations. Infiniti’s service plan, three years or 30,000 miles, now sits on par with Audi’s cadence, leaving Mercedes-Benz as the notable outlier, with customers generally facing maintenance charges.

The move comes as Audi contends with a challenging year for sales, including slower demand for electric models and a reassessment of branding efforts after market feedback led to the abandonment of an unpopular naming convention. The maintenance program is positioned as part of Audi’s strategy to reassure buyers about long-term ownership costs and add tangible value at the point of purchase or lease.

Under Audi Signature Care, the three free visits include multipoint inspections and oil changes, with brake-fluid replacement included once during the coverage period. The benefit applies across the model lineup for 2026, encompassing both purchases and leases, and mirrors the industry trend toward including maintenance in the ownership experience rather than treating it as an extra expense.
